Merrin Martin is the founder of Active Anatomy Health Professional Workshops. Her business started in 2007 and has grown exponentially ever since. This welcomed success means she can bring the workshops around Australia via correspondence courses and face to face workshops.
Merrin has worked in a variety of health related areas including physiotherapy, pilates, exercise rehabilitation, managing corporate fitness centres, personal training & massage therapy. She is an APA and Sports Physiotherapy member with a particular interest in dance injuries.
Merrin has extensive lecturing experience within the health industry and is regarded as an expert in her role as educator in specific exercise programs & managing injuries. She delivers regular presentations & workshops to a number of institutions, including conferences such as FILEX.
Furthermore, she has been instrumental in devising and lecturing in Certificate IV Exercise Therapy & Rehabilitation Courses for the Australian Institute of Fitness and Certificate IV Remedial Pilates module, as well as ePT Certificate IV course with the Australian Fitness Network.
